Ashley & Anjali

Ashley: I love Anjali because she shows up for me no matter what. She has stuck by my side through it all and I truly see her being apart of my life beyond college. When I came to college I was nervous about making friends, but when I am with Anjali I don’t feel nervous to be myself. I am eternally grateful to Phi Mu for presenting me with such a loyal, kind, and true sister in Anjali, and an incredibly valuable sisterhood in all of its members.

Anjali: I came to UH as a commuter, and so did Ashley. This is why we became friends, we were able to bond so quickly and I have never met anybody like her before. She pushes me to be the best version of myself and encourages me to get involved in leadership roles and our philanthropy. Ashley is the kind of friend who goes out of their way to help you succeed, because she is happy when her friends are happy. Ashley resembles some of the best aspects of our sisterhood here at UH Phi Mu. Every single sister here is different, but what I have found in common about all of my sisters is our strong sense of love and pride toward each other.
